Shadow Mountain 2015 Pinot Noir
Bronze Medal 2020 BC Lieutenant Governor's Wine Award
Shadow Mountain Pinot Noir comes from our small lot vineyard located on the western slopes of Lake Okanagan just north of Summerland, BC. The late day mountain shadows protect the vines from the relentless summertime heat. This enables the fruit to develop elegant characteristics true to this noble varietal.
The growing season of 2015 was one of the hottest on record with a very early harvest. This results is a very, robust fruit forward Pinot Noir with notes of sweet, dark cherries and red berries overlying a earthy notes coupled with vanilla and spice.
Delicious with beef stews, salmon, light meats and a variety of cheeses.
Serve slightly chilled at 18 degrees Celsius.
